How I Got Here

I love to write and don't do so often enough.  I am passionate about issues relating to children and women.  And although it would be wonderful to "fix" the whole world I believe we need to focus more on the needs of so many in the US.  I border on being obsessed with finding positive, happy, feel good quotes.  And I will probably share more of these than anyone cares for.  I am obsessed with the news and would probably die if I went a day without going on CNN.com - a few times. 

I love my family and friends.  And I love "me" time too.  Have traveled, dined and shopped alone many times and look forward to many more.  Love to travel - beaches, cruises, NYC and Europe are favorites.   Love the arts.  Paintings, pictures and art galleries make me happy.  Love music - old more than new but definitely some new.  I love clothes, shoes, accessories.  Love Marshall's, Loehmann's, Target and Macy's sales as my budget is very limited.  I am the first born American in my immediate family to a Cuban mom and Spaniard dad.  Love the influences in everything from food to fashion.  "Y modas" means: and fashions.  Peace, Love y Modas.  Things that make me smile, in English and Spanish.

I will probably post often.  Share links to stories that bring tears to my eyes and those that make me smile.  I will also write.  Post pictures.  Lots of happy quotes.  And I will write in English with occasional words or phrases in Spanish that I'll try to translate.
